Searching For Satisfaction

Feeling Melancholy

Posted on: February 21, 2011

I think my heart has given up on love.

You know the best part about love? The feeling that you have when you know that someone cares about you. Knowing that someone worries about you, wants you to be happy, looks across the room at you with love in their eyes…all that kinda stuff.

I don’t feel any of that.

I feel like I don’t matter to anyone.

I can’t even listen to the radio or watch a sappy video anymore. Its just reminders of what I don’t have.

I feel about about as unspecial as a person can be. Nobody wants me.

I’m lost.

And alone.

And sad.

Maybe I’m just depressed.

Awww sweetpea. Don’t give up. I’ve definitely been where you are and am currently battling depression. You are special and you are loved. Just remember- love is an amazing feeling and the love that is destined to be yours for a lifetime will be better than you can even imagine. That’s worth waiting for. Don’t hesitate to email me if you need. XOXOX cyn

*hugs*

but I’ma need you to not write my thoughts and feelings on your blog anymore…mmmKay! 🙂

I think your letting your current situation get the best of you. Try to focus on the positive things about life and not the negatives. You don’t have to be in love with someone in order to be happy. Be happy with yourself

It’ll be okay sweetie, I’ve been there. I know it’s an incredibly annoying lonely feeling. Just take sometime to celebrate the love of yourself.*insert standard cliche to single woman* Fall in love with yourself and others will follow.*cue Alicia Keys – Nobody Not Really*

You know, I have been “single” since 17 (I think), and I acknowledge that being single for men is WAY different than it is for women… But I do feel what you feel from time to time, I am reminded when I see other couples enjoying each other…

Step your feminine game up… And go where there are quality men…
