Searching For Satisfaction

Birthday recap + My First Gucci!

Posted on: July 11, 2008

I’m 26 now, my birthday was Sunday. One more year and then I’m in my late 20’s.

I brought in 26 with a good attitude, and I outlined my game plan for the year. I feel confident that I can accomplish the goals that I’ve set for myself.

LK and I spent 4th of July weekend in Philly. It was my first time going, and from what I saw, its an interesting city. We stayed in Center City, next to the convention city and Reading Terminal Market. I did a lot of walking, more than I ever do in Orlando, and it was nice to be in a city where you don’t have to be in the car. In fact, I didn’t get into a car the entire trip. It rained several times, which was a bit of a downer. I had a good time, but something is different between LK and I. I cannot put my finger on it, but it puzzles me.

Sunday was my birthday, and I spent the majority of it in Philly’s airport, trying to get a flight out to Orlando. I didn’t get to my house until 10pm which was a bummer. I was just happy to get back to Orlando and to my own bed.

My mom sent me a lovely birthday card, and she also sent me 26 $1 bills…which I thought was cute. I haven’t spent any of it yet. I think I should go back it rain with my bills in the strip club, lol.

Today I got my first Gucci bag, and I love it! Its a Joy Medium Boston Bag in brown and it is so fabulous. Here are a few shots of my new baby:
